Positive Signs Continue For Stabilizing Market.
The speed and rate of the falling market is slowing measurably. In last Tuesday’s testimony to Congress, Fed Chairman, Ben Bernanke stated he expected economic activity to “bottom out, then to turn up later this year”. Local economist Lecia Langston stated in a recent article in the Spectrum that “the county’s economy is beginning to stabilize.” There are still many bank owned and short sale properties but the buyers seem to now be aware of the good deals and are actively pursuing them. It was great to see the positive reporting in The Spectrum last week and hear the national news media promoting the same thing. The best opportunities in Southern Utah may well be this summer. Don’t miss out.
