St. George Parade of Homes
The St. George Parade of Homes is back again and starts tomorrow on February 13th here in St. George. This is the 19th annual parade of homes in St. George.
There will be 26 homes in the St. George Parade of Homes with homes that have been built by contractors like Ence Homes, K. Welch Construction, Split Rock Development, S & S Homes, Richardson Homes, Bracken Custom Homes, Ivory Homes and more.
All of these home builders have their own styles and show off their expertise in their parade homes. There will be several exhibitions that will be held during the parade of homes. Exhibits will be held by both members of SUHBA (Southern Utah Home Builders Association) as well as those who do not belong to SUHBA.
This is a big event in St. George as it brings in a lot of travelers who make it an annual event to come to St. George Utah every February. There are thousands of people who travel to St. George to see the parade of homes as last year in 2008 there were over 35,000 visitors.
On February 12th there will be a Parade of Homes banquet which will be a sit down dinner and will be held at Dixie State College in the Kenneth Gardner Student Center. The banquet will start at 7:00 P.M. and is $30 per person and $250 for a table of 8.
Tickets to the St. George Parade of Homes cost $12.50 per person and their are no senior citizen or child discounts. All children under 3 years old must be carried by an adult and no strollers will be allowed in the homes. Tickets go on sale on Thursday February 12th at 5:00 P.M.
Enjoy the St. George Parade of Homes and all of the events and activities that will be held in St. George Utah.

The St. George Parade of Homes is one of the best parades I have ever attended. Some of the homes look like they are resorts or lodges. The parade gives you a chance to see and be in a home that you would not normally be in.
